About Freedom from Headaches
December 12th, 2008 by Tom Cobb
As counselors and biofeedback therapists for over 30 years, we have trained our clients in a unique behavioral approach we developed for people with chronic headaches (more than once a month). Over 12 years ago we created the original Headache Relief Training which was a non-invasive, short term, effective online training.
While scientific literature supports relaxation and home training for solving the problem of chronic headaches there have not been many easily accessible, comprehensive programs available to train people in the methods of relaxation and stress management that really work for chronic headaches.
We have upgraded our online training and it is immediately available. To learn more, sign-up for the Special Report on the right navigation bar. You will receive a special report and 4 videos discussing the missing pieces of conventional headache treatment so you can make your own choices about whether or not this training is right for you.
A natural approach to headache treatment and prevention is effective for migraine headaches, muscle tension headaches, mixed migraine/muscle tension headaches and persistent daily headaches. It is our opinion and experience that until and unless chronic muscle tension of the jaw, head, neck and shoulders is eliminated that any other headache treatment will be compromised and quite likely ineffective. Chronic muscle tension triggering headaches is so ubiquitous and so hidden from ordinary perception that most people don’t realize their muscles are tense and those that do know they have tense muscles really don’t know what to do about it. Yes, massage and other hands on therapies give temporary relief but for long term relief a person needs to learn how to relax and maintain that relaxation over time. Our training is designed to do just that, empower everyone to learn how to become aware of muscle tension and then get rid of it permanently. This is not a trivial process and just saying “relax” isn’t sufficient.
